Trouble syncing contact pix with Facebook

My HTC Incredible 2 will not sync some of my Facebook profile pictures on some of my favorites nor on some of the FB contacts that I have synced with.  I've tried everything I can think of short of resetting to factory spec.  I am only FB app not FB for HTC app

Make sure the name of the contact is the same as their Facebook page, otherwise you have to join them manually.
