Two Droid's, One Email Address?

Well the wife loved my Droid so much she wants one now too. The Gmail tied to my phone is used by both of us- as well as Google Docs and Google Calendar. My question is can both phones share the same Gmail account? Both phones getting the same emails and access to Calendar and Docs? Anyone doing this?

I probably should not respond because I don't really know the answer.  Here's the problem I see with that...your Droid goes out to gmail every 5 minutes (or whatever you tell it) and pulls down your gmail.  Then, the gmail site does not send it down 5 minutes later when your Droid connects next time.  So, if you and your wife are both pulling down the same gmail, I believe only one of you would get each message.  There may be some answer or work around, but it would be so much simpler to have two gmail accounts.

I'm thinking it might be possible because under settings in gmail, I have checked "leave a copy on the server". So When the second phone connects it should see the new mail also. I'm hoping anyways! The new phone comes today, so I'll let you know because I cant be the only one with two droid phones in the same house.

Yes, you can check that box, as I do, but I don't think the email will come down the second time you connect.  If it did, you would continue to get the same emails over and over.  I have that box checked and only get each email sent once to my phone.  Later, when I am on my computer, I get them once.
