I keep getting this message that says something along the lines of "UID's are defective. You must wipe your data partition or your device will be unstable." The only option I get from this message is "I'm feeling lucky". The first time I received this message, I lost all of my apps. This is my first replacement phone; my original completely died a few months ago. I am unable to upgrade until October and I don't want to keep getting replacement phones that have problems. I also don't want to keep losing my apps, photos, settings, etc. Any ideas??

My husband had the same problem the other night.. It wiped out his entire phone but someone told me that Verizon can restore everything back - there is some file within the droid that stores all the data and only they can retrieve it???? Not sure about this so I am taking his phone to a store tomorrow.
Would like to know though in the meantime what this message is all about and why it happened too!!
