In my life as an IT consultant, I have personally used and installed for clients "A Missing Sync for Blackberry". It has worked nicely. I just switched to a Droid X and will be ordering "The Missing Sync for Android" to manage my new phone.

You should find it VERY useful. It is available for both Windows and Mac OS X.
I purchased this last night and it wa easy to install and use, I am glad I got it with all the problems I am having with my driod x this is the best thing that has happened with the phone.
