USB doesn't work

I've tried everything I know and read I should do. Tried a different cord, took the battery and sd card out, factory reset, safe mode start up etc. When I first got it a month ago every pc I connected it to recognized it. When I would plug it in to charge the little white light would come on, nothing now. When its done charging there's a question mark in the center of the battery picture forcing me to turn off and turn back on so it can go away. HELP!!!

You might have a bad battery. I'd have that checked out. If you tried a different cord, than you know it isn't the cord, so that leaves the battery. If you have a battery store in your area, they could test it for you. I believe Best Buy can also check batteries.

I tried another battery, did the same thing. Strangely enough my battery didn't act up on someone else's droid. Any other thoughts.

Battery good. Okay, my next guess would be that the charger is bad. And that does happen. Can you get a different charger? If so, try that. If you are still having problems, then I'm afraid that something is messed up in the phone. But try a different charger first.

Out of curiosity, are you charging using a wall plug or by using your pc? If you are using a pc to do the charging, try usinjg a wall plug.

I've actually been both a pc and wall charger.

There is a possibility that the charging portion of the motherboad is not working properly, hense the issues with charging.

1:  You have verified that your battery is good by using it in another device...

2:  You have tried different USB cables...

3:  You have tried known good chargers..

So.. this leave the device as being the root cause of the problem.  If a master reset does not fix the issue (yes it could be software related) then a warranty replacement would be the next step.

I agree. Since you tried different batteries, different cords, etc., that leaves the device itself. Sounds like a trip to a Verizon Store is in order. It could be that the contacts in the phone are corroded, or out of synch with the battery contacts, or something similar. It may be repairable. Check it out.
