I recently ordered and just recieved my new Droid Charge.
I figured I'd check online to make sure their aren't any caveats I should be aware of before beginning the setup and transfer process from my old phone.
So I find these forums and based by the topic titles alone, I'm quite worried that I made a mistake in buying this phone (and I haven't even turned the dang thing on yet!) LOL
So... did I make a mistake with this one? Should I send it back and get a new 4g phone? I don't want to have to spend twice as much for a different one.
Is the new operating system the solution to the problems people are having, and WILL that actually be released any time soon, if ever?

Foxster,
It's okay to charge it anytime, even for an hour or so at a time. Li Ion batteries do not have a memory like Ni Cad batteries do. In fact it's better to have the battery well charged because there is evidence that the phone MIGHT do some funny things when the battery is to low, let's say, when it's only 15-20% charged.

Foxster. Glad the device is doing well for you. And I hope you are a Bills fan, otherwise you are probably quite bummed out. I'm an Eagles' fan, so it feels good to actually be happy on Monday for once.

Thanks Jerry for the battery advice. Glad to know I can charge it whenever I have the opportunity.
Yep Philly I am indeed a Bills fan, which is finally a good year to say so. LOL So far anyway. The Bills like to get our hopes up before dashing them. 😛
