I did install.  I ran the ap.  It came back with "Sorry...I couldn't find any apps with notifications ads."

When I go to manage APS the ap does not appear as install.  Very confused.

You need to be on the "All" tab in the Manage Applications. Settings > applications > manage applications > all tab. Your view with look slightly different than this..

OMG...never realized....OK...so I "forced stop" an ap.  But, there is still no option to remove or delete.  Does the Forced Stop do it?
