I keep trying to upgrade to the newest release. The upgrade downloads the phone reboots and once it reboots a message pops up that Upgrade has failed. That is it. No other error.
I have wiped my phone back to factory defaults and still no success.

The newest release for the Droid X. Version 2.3.x. it was released this week by Verizon. Now my phone is rebooting on its own when it tries to upgrade. When it reboots I get the error Failed to upgrade device.

Currently there is no information available for the Verzion 2.3 updates.
SoftwareUpdate: The Droid X can update it's software over the air when updates are available for downloading. |
From the main screen, touch menu tab |

2.3 has not yet been released. There is an upgrade to Froyo, 2.3.340. But this is the system version. The Android Version should read 2.2.1.
