V Cast Apps not working

I can't download anything from Verizon. I'd like to download the Disney Mobil Magic app but when I try to use the V Cast App on my phone I keep getting an error: unable to complete request.

Any thoughts on how to fix this?

Get in line, all the fixes that have been suggested have not worked for me and others.

Hi there!

 

We have implemented a fix and its very easy! Just visit http://mobile.vzw.com/VCASTApps from your phone's mobile browser and download the V Cast application from there. The link IS case sensitive!

The link you provided to download an update to for the 'V Cast Apps' application is not working.  It says the system is unable to process the request. 

 

Also the 'V Cast Apps' application is not available in the marketplace.

 

Is there an update coming soon?

I have an xperia play. I did a factory restore and even with the link provided on this thread, I get the same timeout problems with v cast apps. I would love to have a fix soon as 99% of the play enhanced apps are only on v cast.

I just figured out to how download and run the V Cast App.  The link provided above does work  http://mobile.vzw.com/VCASTApps.  You just have to enter it on the browser on the phone.  And it is case sensitive.

 

The phone informs you it is a system app.  Say ok to that.   Go into the menu > settings of the app and choose connect with WiFi only.  

 

Look for the app in 'manage applications'.  It is listed under 'Apps'.  Not V Cast Apps.

I only use it when I have to. I like another, have an Xperia Play and get the same error message. I have a problem with one of the pre-installed games and was hoping to find an update but can't because V Cast Apps isn't working. I tried the link and re-downloaded and installed the app again but still have the same problem.
