VCast Apps No Longer Work

Starting this weekend when I go to look at new apps using the VCast Apps icon I just go to a dead screen. This is the Verizon App store with the icon that is white and has the red Verizon symbol in a shopping cart. The app loads with the red splash screen but when you try to bring something up such as New Apps or Featured, the little flashing dots just go forever and never bring anything up. This just started this weekend. I went to the app settings and cleared the cache and stopped the app, but no difference. My son has the Charge also and his doesn't work either. Anyone else with this issue?

I must say I don't miss it, and less bloatware is a good thing. But I wonder how it disappeared??

Davidoo,
I checked my VCast APPs and it comes up okay but when I click on anything, such as finding an APP, two little dots in the middle of the screen keep bouncing left and right probably to tell me it's looking. A couple of times I let it look for 3-4 minutes and finally quit.
This problem doesn't bother me because I can use Google's Android Marketplace and it works!

Thanks Jerry. That is what mine does, just the two little lights blinking forever. I don't use this much either, but if it is on my phone I would like it to work!

Maybe someone from Verizon will see this and tell us why we cannot use their VCast APPs application. I did have my background info on.

They now work on mine too. I guess that it was a case of Verizon's VCast APPs being down and not our phones.

jco23,
Why don't you JOIN Verizon...just a joke!
Try turning it completely off, wait 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.

WCMack,
Come on now don't keep it secret. Tell us the BIG SECRET as to how you got rid of some of the bloatware. That would be worth both a KUDU and a BOTB awards. Maybe even 2 KUDUs!

If I knew how this happened, I would certainly have started a new thread with the info! People seem to think this phone contains a lot of gremlins doing bad things; perhaps there's at least one benevolent gremlin lurking inside...
