I got my droid2 in early Oct Im usually pretty good at figuring out my phones but im still lost on quite a few things. One of the biggies though is I have it set in sounds/alerts to vibrate when I get a text message? Please tell me its an option because mine doesnt vibrate when I get a text message, and I cant have my ringer on at work or class?

You can just use the volume rocker and turn it all the way down, that puts the phone is silent mode.
You can do the same thing with in settings.
You can also go into the menu within the text messaging app and set what notification you want.
