VZ Navigation error

hello:

I keep getting an error, usually when I am unlocking my phone or turning it on, etc. It pops up and says: "App VZ navigation (procerrcom.vznavigator Droid X) has stopped unexpected. Force close or report." Any suggestions on why I keep getting this msg?

Have you used Verizon Navigation? 

It sounds like the app is still running in the background and possible another app is causing a FC situation, try going to Settings/Applications/Manage Apps/All Tab/Select App and select Clear Data and Force closed and see if issue stops.

why are you using/paying for vz nav when google maps/gps is a freebie?

I'm not, I think I may have hit it by accident, not sure.

Out of curiosity, when did Verizon start allowing pre-installed applications to be uninstalled from the DROID X or any other android phone?
