These are extremely hard to find anywhere. If you order from Verizon website, ship date is estimated as Aug. 9th. The phone is $199 on VZW website, but if you buy in store it is $299 w/ a $100 rebate. So, it's a good deal for someone wanting a new contract, and a good deal for someone who wants there phone to be in stock now. Free 2 day shipping also.

I waited about two weeks for mine to be delivered after ordering online from VZW, but there was the slight benefit of being enrolled automatically in the New Every Two program with a $30 payment reduction.

I asked the Verizon store manager about this same deal and he said that it's legit, HOWEVER, the store cannot guarantee that if something was wrong with the phone that they could take it back and you would have to deal with amazon... not a risk I was willing to take.... just sayin'

I am a Amazon User from WAY back and i can vouch for thier Customer Service. They have always done right by me with anything i have gotten that was defective or not as described. Just make sure you are buying it FROM AMAZON not a 3rd party seller(that will end up being ugly probably)

i have bought stuff from Amazon directly.Never had to return any product. All the products I received were perfect and no problems.   I even bought stuff from sellers that were selling the product I needed. I always look at the feedback of the seller to make sure their a good one. If lots of reviews and good feedback I'll go for it. Only one time I received a wrong phone charger from a seller. I got my money back & returned the product. Amazon will return your money if the seller doesn't (kinda like ebay's buyer's protection)
