Only had my Droid for a few days. OK, I know it is Google based and I can just hit the gmail icon and it takes me right to my gmail inbox. Great, but my gamail account is not my main email. My Verizon acct is my main email (example@verizon.net) and I use MS Outlook 2007 for my verizon email. If I'm away from home I can always just go to the verizon email page and look at my mail. When I get home Outlook will still retrieve all my mail from the Verizon server so I still have it all.
Is there any way to have an icon on the droid work for my verizon email just like the gmail icon works for gmail? Sure, I can go to "Browser" put in the url for the verizon email website (or have a favorite set up), but then I still have to enter my username and password every time- and that is slow going on the small keyboards. Hey, this IS a Verizon phone so I would have though there would be a quick and easy link to my verizon email.
Maybe a batch file or something that will automatically log me in to my Verizon email? Assistance would be greatly appreciated!
