So I have 6.4GB of internal space on my HTC Incredible, and with most applications I try to install, an error message pops up saying there is not enough space to install this application. It has let me with some, but most I am unable to install. Even when I try to update some applications already installed, half of them cannot update because that same error message pops up. I have plenty of room on my phone, the applications are not loading to my micro sd card, because that is full...I don't know what the deal is. My boyfriend just got the Droid X the same day I got my Incredible, and he has not had a single problem with his apps.
I bought this phone so I can use it, and if I cannot use it to my convenience, then what was the point of buying it? If anyone knows what is wrong, or if anyone else has had this problem, please let me know!

Pull the battery while the unit is on and wait a minute, then reinstall and power up the phone. See if that corrrects the issue.
Also, if you do not already, shut the unit down, and power back up once a day just to reset memory and such.
I've tried doing that a few times now...I still get the same error message.
Then try calling *228 choose option 1.
If that does not work, then a master reset may correct it. If that does not work you may need to have the phone replaced.
It also could be an app you have already loaded causing the issue.
I just read your SD card is full..... try shutting the phone off removing the card, then powering up and try to add an app.
