Is there a way to set up when a Voice Mail is received? Like a tone or ring or ??
Is there a reason why you post the same question twice? This is my responce on other post....
The stock Voicemail uses the default notifications alert but if you are using the VVM app you can open it and click left menu button and there is a option to customize the alert.

If I am using the stock default setting I am getting Zero alerts that I have a Voice Mail
I have an app It says Voice Mail Is this one you are referring to? I do not see a VVM appl you mention
