Voice Record?

Hi, is there a way, without an app, to record a message from another divice to my phone.  ie: there is a VM on another, Sprint, and I want to record it onto my phone, Verizon.  I can't find any option in my voice mail options to allow me to record.

Hello, if the Droid had the voice record feature like some of the feature phones, you could call the Sprint number and access the voice mail to record the message, but this feature is not preinstalled. The other option would be to search the market for call recording app or even do a google search. Here's what I found you can try: http://androidforums.com/motorola-droid/19485-phone-call-recorder.html

Lastly, if you know someone with a basic/feature phone, make a call and select Options to see if record is listed. If so, the sound file can be inserted in a picture message and sent to you.
Hope this helps.

Lastly, one way is if you know someone with a basic/feature phone, use their phone. Do a test while on a call to see if the phone has voice record by selecting Options. If so, the sound file can be inserted in a picture message and sent to your phone or email address.

Hope this helps.

Is it possible to forward the message to another phone? Does it have to be on the same network?

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

Yes that would be an option if the Sprint voice mail has a forwarding option. It may only allow you to forward to another Sprint  number which is how our voice mail forwarding option is.
