I've had a droid x2 for about 8 months and haven't really had any problems. Today, I tried to listen to music on my phone (with google music), which I've done many times before, but when I plugged in the headphones and started the music playing, it would automatically go to voice mail, beep and disconnect, and then go back to voice mail, beep and disconnect, and then the 3rd time (I think) it would actually stay on voice mail (asking for my password, etc). It kept doing this until I pulled out the headphones. I tried it on the standard Music app included with the phone and it does it with that app as well.
I tried uninstalling google music--no change. I've tried clearing the voice mail cashe--no change. I think it may be connect to voice commands but I'm not sure. I've tried to disable the voice commands but could not do it.
NOTE it does not do this when you play music without the headphones plugged in.
I'm at a total loss. HELP!
