the time an length the new battery lasted after charging  was 11h  45m  38s

this was while streaming winamp, no phone calls , no waking up the display, or any other activities with the X as i was performing this.

I recently did a long drive -  9 hours each way.

Now granted, this was all done with a Car Charger plugged in so wasn't a "test" of my battery. More so a "test" of the overall performance of the phone.

All of these activities running in the foreground or background at same time  (PS - I was the passenger, lol):

- Streaming DI Radio the whole time  (Pandora no longer works for me under GB)

- Checking & replying to email

- Gas Buddy updates along the route

- Twitter updates & reads

- facebook updates & reads & pics uploaded

- Occasional Web surfing via Dolphin browser

- GPS on & Google Navigation & Maps the entire trip, traffic updates, route directions

- Several phone calls

It was AWESOME & Impressive -- never 1 unexpected reboot. It ran COOL - I used the GOMADIC car vent dock.

Hey Cody, pandora stopped working for me too after GB. I think I use my phone fire music more than anything else. I found another app like Pandora, called Jango. Its even better - unlimited skips, no ads... It's awesome. Check it out if you haven't already. :smileyhappy:

I assume you were asking B33 ??   I didn't have WiFi on during my trip - except when I got to the resort.

To answer your Question: Yes i was using my Wi-Fi the hole time i was using Winamp but i'm affraid the fun ride with the good channels that winamp had is Over what there using now i would classify it as well junk pure junk an when i looked on winamp's shoutcast stations the new one's that is each an every one of them only had a few listners some of the channels did'nt have any listners. So if they continue that is winamp with these junk channels i would say they would have alott of there comitted listners jump ship an an go elswear. Me included. an this is sad because they had some great channels to listen too. B33

I agree with you B33 --  the ShoutCast channels are really lacking in WinAmp anymore.

Well cody an this is saying this an trying not to go over the line they're going down the tubes in flames really fast an what listners they did have are not going to pute up with it any longer an i'm a affraid that winamp won't be around to much longer unless they make some drastic changes. or at least go back to wear they were. I remembered this thread. Today, as often, sitting at my desk listening to mp3's with Doubletwist and the music stopped.

I pick up phone. Nothing. Won't bring up the display. Nothing.

No choice but pull the battery because it wouldn't respond to anything. Restarted the phone and everything was OK.

Just made me think of your thread and how my phone fails me so often. Sure, it's probably Doubletwist and nothing to do with the phone, but it's another example of why DSW is DSW.

Maybe, I expect too much.

Update 1.2.5 is out an it was a Bug an update fixer for the previous releases that were causing issues as on the 1.2.1 update that initially came out with the Graphic Equalizer an a Neet one it is this update has it as well. But you'll have to pay for the EQ part of the App an as i said it's a very nice EQ. So give it a try. An listen to some Groovey Music. :smileyvery-happy:  B33
