Wait a second....i thought farmville would work with froyo and flash?

yup...farmville plays fine on 2.2.

I played with the 2.2 on my original droid.  i'll try my x in a bit.

oops...sorry Gurl.  You need to download flash from market first.

I just loaded up farmville on the X works fine.

Alright...I am very very sorry for the lack of information on how I am playing farmville on my DX.

I do not use the default browser, i use skyfire.

 

but....most people will prefer the default browser.

 

So:

Open your browser, go to facebook and open farmville.  You will see an error that says it isnt available on this device.....NOT SO!!

type into the browser about:debug and press go.

 

seemingly nothing happens.

Press your menu button

Press "MORE"

Scroll down to "Settings"

Scroll all the way down to the bottom where you see "UA STRING"

Choose "Desktop"

then hit back and then refresh the browser.

Farmville will load up.

 

I will accept Kudo and/or hugs and kisses for this!  Just kidding about the Kudos :smileyhappy:

DJ - followed your instructions - Farm starts to load, then I get a big ! where the farm should be.

hmm...it just works for me when i follow my instructions.   I am not on wifi, i have wifi turned off.  I have farmville loaded right now.

 You can try a different browser called "skyfire" you will not have to do those steps.

 

Let me know if it works out.

I want to make sure again that everyone is going to the market and installing flash 10.1 before trying this??  I have farmvill up on default browser now for 15 min.  I can scroll around my farm, zoom in and out .  all the buttons work great. 

 

I hope everyone gets this working.

Flash 10.1 is installed.  Ironically, Petville loads up fine.  Might try the browser you suggested.

Immortal, what browser are you using?  I can't get it to work for me and I have Flash installed too.
