I am planning a trip throughout most of Europe next Summer... I happen to have a Droid 2 Global (I did not buy it for travelling, but it seems that it may be a benefit for me if I bring it)
What is the Droid 2 capalbe of doing?
What do you need to do in order to make it work in various countries in Europe?
Can you simply use it as a wireless communication device..? (email, social networks, etc...)
Let me know as I'm pretty clueless when it comes to these things...

I can go over the global information for you. The Droid 2 Global will work for calls,messages,and data services. If the sim card is activated prior to leaving. Before you travel, dial *611 or call (800) 922-0204 to enable International Roaming on your device.
