After getting my phone wet, I waited a while to let it dry then plugged it in. I think the battery is now dead, but one of the messages on the display says failed to boot 0. I looked online and only saw similar messages, but with a 1, 2, and 4, not a 0. What does that mean?

Did you leave the phone in a sealed bag of dry rice for a few days to dry out all the parts before turning it on?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

So your phone took a little swim, huh?
That's not normally a good sign, goochrvg.
failed to boot normally means the battery is finished. If you have dried it out completely and it's still giving the error code then you may want to look into getting a new battery to see if that works.

If you get the new battery & are still having problems then the phone would need to be replaced if you have insurance.
Good luck to you!
