I have to slide phone open for the screen to turn back on, I have tried tapping the power button but that doesn't work. Is there a solution for this?

I found on here that someone said to make sure the motion sensor is clean, there are 3 holes somewhere on the phone and they sense when you move the phone down from your ear. I haven't seen them to see if they are clear. I just have the long thin hole at the top where I hear from.

Hi dawnmarie0129,
I understand your concerns regarding your inability to end a call due to a dark screen. Your profile indicates that you have a Droid Pro device. Your touch screen might stay dark during calls if the sensor just above it is covered. Page 6 of your Droid Pro User Guide indicates to not use covers or screen protectors (even clear ones) that cover this sensor. Screen protectors can also interfere with touch screen performance. If you are not using a screen protector, pushing the power button will wake the screen on your device.
