I use a bean bag mount for my Garmin and like it a lot but an additional one for the phone might be overkill. Any recommendations for use in a new Camry?

Have you looked at the Car Dock, that should do fine.

Is that the one that has both suction cup attachments for the window and the dash that Verizon sells?

I'm using the Garmin Bean Bag mount for the Nuvi. I looked at the cardock when I got it home and seen that the piece that holds the cardock to the windshield mounting arm has the same size socket as the ball on the Nuvi mount. I put it all together and never looked back My DX is my go to navigation device. I've seen them as cheap as $19.00 on Amazon the past couple weeks.
Good Luck with it

I bought the Gomadic vent mount ... works really well with the additional benefit that while mounted, the air flow from the vent helps keep it cool. It's available on Amazon.

I had a Gomadic vent holder for a previous phone, turned out I couldn't use it during the winter months as my phone got to hot and couldn't close the vent to stop the heat from blowing on phone. I really liked the idea though, just didn't prove practical for me.
