Who can help w/ ICS questions?

I got ICS last night so i woke up to a phone that neither myself nor tech support knows much about.  Still evaluating the damage but biggest problem so far is that if i followed somebody/something on Twitter they are now inter-mingled with my actual Contacts.   Not sure why or if there's any ramifications to deleting them as a "Person" or "Contact".  Still determining what else is messed up so I know I'll have more questions; where can we go to get answers to these type of questions?  TIA

I'd suggest using the search feature on this forum.  There's already several threads and lots of posts about various issues and remedies, plus 'tips and tricks'.  If you don't find what you're looking for by searching the various threads, post a question.

You should be able to go into your Twitter app and go to settings. You should find something similar to Sync Contacts with a few options. Choose DO NOT sync Contacts. That should remove them. If it does not go to your accounts and Delete your Twitter Account from the phone itself (you will NOT lose any Twitter info as that is stored on Twitters Servers). Then go back into Twitter (it will have you sign in again) and go back to settings and make sure Sync Contacts is still set to DO NOT. That should remove these contacts from your phone contacts list.

Also you can open the People App and bring up the menu. Choose Contacts to display. Make sure your only contacts displaying are Phone, Your Gmail and Possibly Verizon Wireless (if you use Backup Assistant).

Thanks for the suggestions!   They are much appreciated!

I don't seem to have an option to sync contacts on twitter but changing whom to display in the People app seems to help.

Be nice if VZW provided some sort of guide to ICS.  Frustrating to be a Bionic owner to begin with and now have new OS to deal with.  Afraid of what i'll find next.

Check the Motorola Bionic Forum if you want help/information.

It's much more active than this forum, and the regular participants (i.e., those who answer questions) and moderators are knowledgeable about the Bionic and Android.

Also, nice of them to do a SW upgrade overnight and, in doing so, change the Alarm settings to silent!

Since the links were removed, let's try a more general statement!  There are several other helpful/useful/"respectable" Bionic forums out there, which you can find by searching using your favorite engine.   As with any forum, not everyone posting is necessarily as knowledgeable as they try to imply, but the active forums have a lot more quality control, with wrong posts quickly being peer corrected.  Always evaluate the advice being given, and perhaps search in multiple places to see if there are any issues.
