My wife and everybody else has good signal at my house but my lg4 drops calls and it cuts in and out and they can't understand what I'm saying. Also it goes to 3g a lot and sometimes 1g. My phone is the only one doing this. What is the problem? Bad phone?
Have you replaced the SIM card yet? Sometimes they can go bad or corrupted.

OK you mentioned Droid Ultra and then LG G4. Which one is it?
Things you can try:
1. Change SIM card
2. Reset Settings OR Reset Network Settings (not all phones have Reset Network Settings)
3. Ensure data is turned on
4. Turn on Data Roaming
5. Restart device
