Why can't I get the attachments that are in my POP emails...?

I have my verizon.net email set up in the droid.  I have emails with paperclips but can't seem to find the attachments to open/download.  Seems to be mostly the case with PDF attachments.

You may have to download a PDF viewer or one that allows viewing large pdf files.
