Unable to open google play store getting this message, Google play store needs background data to be enabled. Have enabled background data and stilI keep getting this message and not able to open app

That link opened to a blank white page. Not much help.

OK yesterday the link would not open, tried it today and the link opened

and I followed the instructions Google play is now reset and working.
