??? Why cant i update my droid 2 global?

I have read everywhere that the Gingerbread update is out but everytime i try to update it says it is up to date please someone help me out here

Your phone probably just hasn't gotten the update yet. Its pushed out in waves.

I believe that the previous announced update was pulled after the issues with the Droid X update came to light. Motorola and Verizon have not released to Droid 2 Global update to Gingerbread yet.

Thank you for all of the responses.  It is true that Verizon Wireless releases software updates in waves and not everyone will get them at once.  I hope this helps. Thank you.
