Does using WiFi increase battery usage?
I've been told that when you are in range using WiFi will use less battery, but when you out of range it will use more battery to leave the WiFi on. Hope this helps
I've found that to be true, Kooshie. If I'm home I turn on WiFi because the 3G signal isn't the greatest here. It uses less battery than 3G, and it's quicker too. But I'm out and about I turn WiFi off because it will use more juice looking for signals.
