With the DX on back order until early Sept, and since the Moto site says that the 2.2 update will be early Sept, is there any chance that the DX will then start to ship with 2.2? I am due to upgrade and have played with both the DX and the D2. The D2 is so much better with the 2.2, but I like the bigger screen on the DX. Also, was trying to hold out until the Fascinate comes out, and then decide, but with these great phones, its tempting not to wait.

I would guess no..... if the OTA is ready to go a couple of weeks before it ships, then there would be a possibility, but I doubt it.
but you would have it upgraded over the air sooin after you get it, unless Verizon finds a problem that would keep it from going out.
Hmm I too would say no. Even if the update is available at the time you get your phone you can just go into system update on the phone itself.Then do the update that way instead
