Will the 2.2 update improve Exchange sync so that I don't need to use Touchdown?

We use the Touchdown market app at my company to sync with Exchange server and I hear Verizon employees also use this app. I see that the 2.2 update has improved Exchange features. Will this mean I don't need to use Touchdown any longer?

Touchdown still offers better support. The stock app brings support for security policies but it still isn't that great and people seem to be having issues especially with Exchange Server 03

My company has 2003 and I have had no issues with the native email... I am just glad I am able to get email through native app... I was using Seven, instead of Touchdown, because it was free...
Touchdown was good, but I got a refund... I haven't noticed anything different except the native app is super fast.

I saw somewhere that 2.2 is suppose to fix all e-mail problems with Hotmail, etc. Don't know how true this is.
