Just found a workaround to a bug I see with my Incredible after the 2.3.4 update. Several of my desktop icons were wrong in that they all displayed a generic green and white Android app icon. I went to Settings then SD & phone storage I chose to Unmount SD card, then as soon as ready Mount SD card. This seemed to fix the problem until I decided to "RESTART" my phone, then the generic icons once again replaced the proper icons. Doing the unmount/mount routine again fixed the issue. Oddly if I power off the phone then power back on, things stay normal. FWIW I started with a new freshly formatted 8gb micro SD card before I loaded my desired applications.
