Part of the time it will work fine, then it's an real exercise in "forget it". Is it imcompatible with this phone or what??
Thanks for any input on this issue. I have family that strictly uses this, so it's very inconvenient for me to have it not function.

I, too, use Yahoo Messenger and understand how important it is to have this application working on your phone!
I would like to ask if you checked to see if you have the latest version of Yahoo Messenger installed on your phone? If so, I would suggest going into the "Settings" menu > then "Applications" > "Manage Applications" > "Downloaded/Third Party", look for the Yahoo Messenger application > then "Clear Data". When completed, try reestablishing a connection through Yahoo Messenger by signing back into your Yahoo Messenger account. As a last resort, if necessary, Uninstall and Reinstall the Application in it's entirety.
Let me know how this works out for you!
