I have been looking on other forums and it seems that many people are having this problem. But nobody seems to have a resolution to the problem. I do have the notification selected but its like the icon is invisible. I have tried restarting my phone, and removing and the adding my account back, but it still does the same thing. Please help!!
I have provided some information below that may help.
Step 1. – Try deleting the Yahoo application data. I have provided the instruction below:
-Select Menu
-Select Settings
-Select Applications
-Select All
-Select Yahoo (if the Yahoo app was downloaded…if not Select Mail)
-Select clear data (this does not remove any messages, however you may have to log back into the account(s) afterwards)
Step 2. – Complete a soft reset (after Step 1 was completed). Instructions below:
-Power the device off
-Pull the battery out for 20 seconds
-Place the battery back in
-Power the device back on
Step 3. – Remove the account and add it back on the device.
Step 4. – Hard reset. Performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications. Only perform this reset if absolutely necessary. Instruction provided in the link below:
