i had zedge and uninstalled after it force closed and i lost all of my texts (immediately after using a tone for my alerts). i still have the tone that was downloaded through zedge ("DROID" voice for text alerts). i thought i may be able to move the file to the folder that the incredible stores the default tones in, but it won't let me copy it there? any suggestions? or any other ways i can get the "DROID" voice as my tone without using an app. i fearful of losing texts again by installing any of the apps. is there a manual way to do it?

If you can see the tones in your music player then open the song and set as ringtone.

it doesn't show up. it's an mp3 and i just realized that all of the mps files in the "my music" folder from the sd card don't show up in the stock music player. to play them i have to actually go into the file and open it. i can paly the "droid" sound but the menu wont open to let me set it as a tone.
