I cannot add music to my droid. I have connected my phone to my computer (via USB). I have dragged the 'USB connected' down from the top, tapped 'mount'. Phone states Preparing SD, at the top bar. I opened my 'Windows Media Player', went to 'My Computer' and there is no access to my droid. In my computer it states 'Removable Disc D'--when I open this I receive message to insert disc into computer. Do I need to download some software on my computer? If so, do you know where I can find this software? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like your PC has not correctly identified and installed the drivers for your Phone.
Try rebooting your PC
Then connect your phone and try to mount.
Look in the task bar and see if it's trying to set up drivers for your Phone.
If not go to the control panel and select add hardware and let it search for your phone.
Once it's installed correctly then you should be able to get to the drive and add music and etc.
If this doesn't work you may have a bad phone or cable.
Hope this helps
