after you buy a ringtone how do you activate it on a Droid 2

#1...I see the text sent to me showing I bought the ringtone

 

#2... I have tried to save it to downloads.

 

#3 I might see it in downloads.

 

#4 I don't know what to do with it or where to send it it if I do see it in downloads.

Hi Crescentbar800,

 

Once you have downloaded the Ringtone, it is very simple to set it as a ringtone. For example, let's say you want to set it as your messaging ringtone. Simply pull up your messaging, then press Menu, and then Settings. You would then scroll to Notifications and make sure it is checked. Then, press Select Ringtone. The ringtones will come up in alphabetical order. Once you see the one you downloaded, you will be able to select it as your ringtone. 

 

If you want to set it as a ringtone for a specific contact, you would simply pull up that contact and press Menu then Options. You will then be able to press Ringtone and select the ringtone from there.
