Is there a widget that I can place on the front of the phone for the alarm clock? And how do I get it? Thank you.

There are clock widgets built into the phone. As you may have found, they do not offer alarm options. However, a quick search in the Market gives several options for alarm clock widgets. Many are even free. I encourage you to check them out and see if one suits your needs.

if you use the HTC clock widget and click on it, it gives you three alarms to set with the ability to add more
