I just called CS because one of my lines is up for an upgrade( currently have 4 lines 2 with smart phones) so i called to see if i could get it moved up to the 15th to get the droid x. he told me that i can upgrade right now to any smartphone because the line that is due for an upgrade has a dumbphone activated on it. will i be able to walk into a verizon store and get the droid x using my dumbphone line and have it activated on my primary line which currently has a smart phone on it and keep the dumbphone on the line that was just upgraded.....ive done this lots of times in the past but never for a "special" promo.
Yes you will be able to upgrade your dumbphone line an have the phone activated onto another line, and keep the dumbphone on its current line. HTH!
