It may help if you explained more, what happening when you try to respond that makes it so you cant respond?
You are right-i'm sorry. When I get a text from someone with *82 as part of their address, my phone won't let me reply-it says it needs a valid address to send the reply! I am seriously under-teched and I would appreciate any help given. Thank you
I am unsure why you would have a text from a number with *82, the messaging system only reconize phone numbers and email addresses for sending mms to some carriers that does not support standard mms proticols. I would say this is your issue and you should try to reply the the users cellphone number without and add on extentions.
Just in case you do not know what *82 means:
"*82 before the number you are calling means that the person you are calling does not allow blocked numbers and *82 unblocks your phone number on a one time basis to let them know who is calling". I don't know how this effects texts. Never tried it.

Your friends who require *82 most likely need to update their authorized callers list. Some devices may require that they have you listed in their contacts.
