backup assistant and Inc

Anyone else having problems backing up w/ Backup Assistant and their Inc?

My specific problem is backing up Gmail Contacts w/ Backup Assistant. The Contact files just don't back up. Spoke w/ Verizon CS and they said that it's a known issue which will be corrected soon w/ a software update. Is that BS or for real? Am I the only person w/ this problem?

not sure. but i know there have been a lot of issues with contacts in general. fb contacts and gmail contacts. some have had issues synching. i've seen some say that they add to theri gmail account and it doesn't show up in their phone. who knows though, if they are actually working on a update with a fix? i actually don't use gmail much so i don't have contacts in it. all of mine are just my phone's contacts.

Might try taking into tech services and see if they notice a setting that is missed. I save all my contacts to google and been through several resets and installes of the leaks and still ahd no problem retrieving my contacts. I don't use VZ backup. All those tools are available on my phone through the market at no charge and it backsup to my SD card, which I copy to my hard drive and compress should I need any of it. I would check your gmail contacts sync settings. That may be the culprit on the other hand it is much easier when I look at it.

Does anyone know how to make a hard copy of contacts? I keep my passwords there and want to print them out

Hi there TrishRNDC! Yes, I can guide you through getting a hard copy of your contacts. I've done it myself! First, you'll need to log into to www.verizonwireless.com to access your contact list. Once you see the list, you'll notice that there's blue link above right of your contact list that says "Select All". Click it, and then click on the downward arrow next to "Actions" (to the right) and select "Print". You can also save a copy of the list in the form of a .csv file by selecting "Export".
