Jus set up new Incredible 2 but I cannot get backup assistant to get my contacts. I go to my Gmail account and all the contacts are there, I cannot get backup assistant to sync with my Gmail account. I get my emails on the phone with not problems.
If you are seeing all contacts in Google dont worry about Backup Assistant because they are not tied together at all... Since the info is in Google have you logged into Google email app (gmail) because this is the area that syncs your contact anf gmail email info from..
set up you're google account to sync, it will restore all you're contacts to you're phone.Back up assistance is of no use on a droid phone.
