Do others have a problem with the DROID X not charging? Suddenly today, I can't charge the phone at all. I've tried the normal charger and the auto one, and nothing is happening. I've only had this phone a few months, can the battery be bad already?? Id there anything else that can contribute to this problem?

Generally speaking, if you have tried alternate chargers and it still doesn't work, there may be something else going on besides the battery.
I would recommend, removing the battery, then plug the charger back in to the phone. Once you have done that, look to see if the Droid X is recognizing the charger being plugged in. Do you have to wiggle the charger around to make it charge?
If so, it may be a charging port issue. If you continue to have issues with your Droid X, we may need to do some additional troubleshooting.

Yes, if your battery drops below a certain voltage your phone cannot recharge it. One trick that has worked for me on MANY phones in the past is to: Plug in your phone, remove the battery, then reseat your battery. Now you wait to see if your charging screen pops up (leave phone off). If no results, try this trick a couple more times. Sometimes it takes on the first try, sometimes the 10th. If it does start charging, just leave it turned off and charging for a couple hours before you power-on the device.
