We can recieve, but not send e-mails from our Droid X phone. This is a business network e-mail...not google based. I have been told we need the 2.2 or 2.1 update, but that we cannot get it until Verizon releases it to our area.....how screwy is that?!?! Does anyone know how we can get that update now? Do we have the right info? Please Help!!!
Is your work email Microsoft Outlook?
First, you should have received 2.2 by now. It is out and available. Check Setting>About Phone and see what Android Version you have. If it says 2.1 tap on System Update. If it says 2.2, you have it. Second, usually the culprit for the inability to send an Email is its settings. I would check with your tech to see what the ISP settings are. Motorola has a chart on its site listing all ISP Email settings.
