well, me my brother, my sister and my friend went to my verizon local store sunday to get us a new droid x knowing that we may have to wait 3-4 days for it to ship. i know it has only been a week, but from what my sales rep tells me is probably won't ship untill the 24th now. my sister got hers 2 days later brother 3 days later. i am yet to even have a tracking number, and when i call up all they can say is, I DUNNO.
sick and tired of questions with no answers i know probelms happen i know patience needs to be present, and yes this is a rage topic just because i missed a important call not having my phone as i didnt want to pay $30 for this months data knowing i had a droid x in the mail that could take a month before shipping. just one thing, please keep us informed. With that last word, you've (probably unknowingly) said it all. I would wait a month for a phone that worked than buy a phone in my hands today that hardly worked.
Good luck, in all sincerety,

So, because your brother and sister got their phones almost a month early and you did not, you are mad?
Wow, enjoy your Iphone. I'm sure the loss of your monthly payment will not hurt VZW all that much.
Ever hear of bitting your nose to spite your face?... enjoy your iphone.

If you ask me the $30 unlimited data plan is worth it. Plus on the iPhone you will need a data plan there too. I know AT&T changed their data plans around but iPhone still requires a data plan. You'll still be forking over the money for a data plan. Did you fail to realize that? I bet the person will experience issues with the iPhone 4 though. There have been so many MANY SEVERAL complaints about the antenna.

Sorry to hear about your troubles. i walked into Costco today and walked out with my droid x 30 minutes later. They also give me a $30 phone credit, an extra phone for my family plan free, two car charges, two carrying cases, two headsets and an instant $100 discount instead of the mail in type. I'm more than happy with my purchase.

Envy and instant gratification has to be the defining feature of the current generation. I hope you didnt pay cancelation fees, and the $30 data fee is the price of reliable/unlimited internet. It sounds like you were swayed by an Ifanboy, enjoy the next two years of ATT service.

Have you ever noticed that those who complain about the DX and either got an I (am not a) phone or are going to go get one instead, are single posters.
Makes you think if they even ever went near a verizon store.
Just wondering out loud.

The original poster was worried about being charged for his data plan? Maybe I'm wrong but does Verizon begin charging for the data plan before he activates his new phone?? WOW.

Now they do not. And I totally agree with the post that is before yours.

I have noticed that the people that talk about how the iPhone is so great usually only post once and very rarely twice. Trolls

I've noticed the same thing. I've also noticed they never mention that they have to order their Iphone and wait just like they do for the Droid X.

I also notice how many groupies there are in here.
It's one thing to be a groupie. It's another to pay money to a company and then grovel at their feet. Kind of reminds me of people who grovel at Steve Jobs feet.

I've noticed people who post nothing but whining troll comments.
If you're not happy with a service, cancel it and go elsewhere. No one really cares either way to be honest, many of these posts are little more than my 2y/o's temper tantrums.

4 posts of absolutely nothing but 100% whining... As with your math/calender skills, I'm unimpressed.
