This has been happening for a while, & I've reached the point where I'm livid.
My phone deletes my LOCKED messages, along with all other messages occasionally.
Basically my inbox is wiped clean. No messages whatsoever.
My storage settings are as follows: Delete old messages as limits are reached (limit set at 200 text messages per conversation, 20 multimedia messages per conversation).
Even text message conversations that had clearly not reached the limits on my phone were erased.
With all my other verizon phones, I have never had locked messages erased when my inbox limits are reached. Being as this is a phone way more advanced than my previous phones, I'm pretty upset something simple like this is a problem.
I need a solution. I keep losing important information. I'm fed up. Please help.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I changed my settings for "delete conversations", by trial and error, to the MAX setting of 5000.
If my LOCKED messages get deleted from this latest update yesterday, I will SUE Verizon Wireless and/or HTC/Droid or whoEVER, as an entire line of text messages dating a month are going to be used in an upcoming court appearance!
