ok i have a droid 1 and love it so my wife got a droid 2 was awsome until last update no it randomly reboots did a factory reset seem to help a little still reboots just not as often but now wont download some apps. please help
some third party applications may cause this. try looking at the applications you have downloaded and see what the settings are.
by third party applications i meant ones you download from the market. im not sure if you've noticed but many of them have access to personal files and can change them like phone contacts.ive noticed also they changed the phones a little after a factory direct reset you have to dial *228 to update it and the phone will experience problems if you dont. good luck.

My phone random reboots when I am adjusting the Media Volume durring Music playback. This is NOT a downloaded app - it came with the phone. It only happens when I'm playing music. It's very annoying.
I also enjoy listening to music via my cellphone. I can understand why it frustrates you when the phone reboots while listening to music.
I know of others that are having this same problem since the last update.
I am forwarding your information to the software developers to advise them.
