Sorry to post this here but there's no category including Droid 4. My problem is that I hate the universal inbox. I read most emails on my desktop computer and gmail automatically deletes them from my phone when I delete them from the computer. Not so with the universal inbox. They stay there indefinitely and I have to delete each one individually. My questions are as follows and each answer "could" solve my prolem.
1. Is there any way to delete ALL contents of the universal inbox with one swipe?
2. Could I remover my gmail account from the universal inbox (thereby keeping it from acquiring that email) without causing problems with my gmail account?
