droid mini wont startup

i am using droid mini. few days ago cool down mode alert appeared. then my phone stuck on this. i restore factory settings and formatted all data.

after that still cool down mode alert appear. but not stuck at this. sometimes temperature alert appear. also battery is not charging.

now the status of phone is that it wont startup and no charging.

what happened? is there any problem with battery or phone?? please help.

The Droid mini doesn't have a removable battery, so if you're still having those problems even after a Factory Reset, there's not much left you can do. Can you get it to boot to recovery mode (hold Volume Down for a few seconds, then tap and release the Power button and keep holding Volume Down)? If so, and if you restored any data from your back-up after the FDR, you may want to attempt the FDR again without restoring to see if maybe anything in the backup is part of the problem. If the trouble persists after that, all you can really do is switch to another phone, buy a new one, or get a replacement if your device is still in warranty.

warranty period is over. would you like to tell me the problem is with battery only. or there is something wrong with the phone.

Only Motorola can tell you that information. They might even be able to repair it for a nominal fee.

i tried to start the phone. fortunately it is started now. battery is charging. but discharged within 30 minutes. also cool down mode alert after couple of minutes.
